Mr. Miles and his smiles

Mr. Miles and his mom and dad are very good friends of mine.

I am the lucky one who has the honor of taking their yearly Christmas picture.

Even though I get to capture this cutie playing with my boy often, it is really fun when he gets all spiffed up and meets me at a fun location!

I think the final is too cropped, but with the tilt I lost her ear on the right side, so needed to do something short of creating a new ear!

Sibling love

These two adorable kids are only 13mo apart!

Boy are they lucky though, because they are also the best of friends.

They were so fun and smiley almost the whole time.

And those curls were killing me!

Mr. Dominick

This fun family met me out at the popular Quarry hill for a chilly but sunny and beautiful day.


Dominick was not keen at wondering too far from mom and dad, but a tractor, a caterpiller, a quarter and some leaves did the trick for this guy!

Miss Hattie

The lovely Minnesota weather pushed us inside last weekend. What a fun experience though! The Plummer house mansion is a magical place and fun to find all the hidden treasures.

Who knew an old bathtub could be so much fun!

Miss Hattie is a busy girl, she was so much fun to follow around and just observe!

Edit 1:
This was my basic edit.
Removed bruises, lightened, warmed and bosted the color and saturation along with a crop. Sharpened her eyes and brightened them a bit.

Edit 2:
This was my fun edit. Did a Vintage Mod action along with adding some texture from Michelle Johnson that was featured this week on I Heart Faces. Masked out the texture from her face and also sharpene her eyes and warmed it all up a bit.

We are family!

I love when I have the opportunity to do a shoot for someone in my family. There is something truly special about capturing them as they grow.

Last weekend I got to spend some time with my niece and nephews. It has been so fun to watch them change and grow. If you have been around a while you may remember them from this shoot last year.

Well, they have grown and I think they actually enjoyed their time being models for a morning (or perhaps it was the promise of a toy from their mom that did it!)

They brought the other members of their family along for a couple shots as well.

Yep, I even handed off the camera to my sister for a shot with my niece. I think she did a pretty good job!
